Latvian championship regulation
A dog cannot receive more than 3 CAC certificates.
A dog cannot receive more than 3 JCAC certificates.
A dog cannot receive more than 3 VCAC certificates.
How to confirm Latvian Junior championship, Latvian championship, Latvian Veteran championship or Baltic championship for your dog?
In order to become Latvian Junior Champion or Latvian Veteran Champion the dog must receive 3 JCAC or 3 VCAC certificates from at least 2 different judges at Special, National or International show organized by LKF or its members (clubs).
If a dog is Junior champion of any FCI country (not matter when confirmed his championship), and his resident country has the agreement with LKF about confirming the title with 1 JCAC certificate (see below), he/she can confirm Latvian Junior Champion title with 1 JCAC certificate
If a dog is Junior champion of any FCI country (not matter when confirmed his championship) and his/her resident country does not have agreement with LKF about confirming the title with 1 JCAC certificate, the dog can confirm Latvian Junior Champion title with 1 JCAC certificate if the certificate is received at International dog show.
If a dog is Veteran champion of any FCI country (not matter when confirmed his championship), and his resident country has the agreement with LKF about confirming the title with 1 VCAC certificate (see below), he/she can confirm Latvian Veteran Champion title with 1 VCAC certificate.
If a dog is Veteran champion of any FCI country (not matter when confirmed his championship) and his/her resident country does not have agreement with LKF about confirming the title with 1 VCAC certificate, the dog can confirm Latvian Veteran Champion title with 1 VCAC certificate if the certificate is received at International dog show.
In order to become Latvian Champion the dog must receive 3 CAC certificates from 3 different judges at Special, National or International show organized by LKF or its members (clubs). Between the first and the last CAC certificate must be 52 weeks.
If a dog is Latvian Junior Champion and his resident country has the agreement with LKF about confirming the title with 1 CAC, he can become LV Champion with 1 CAC certificate, if he became LV Junior champion with 3 JCAC certificates (between the receiving of the first JCAC and CAC certificate must pass 52 weeks).
A dog who does not live in Latvia and is not registered in LKF Studbook can become Latvian Champion with 1 CAC certificate if he/she is the champion of any FCI country (not matter when confirmed his championship) if the National organization has the agreement with LKF about confirming the title for their dogs with 1 CAC (see below).
If the National organization does not have the agreement, a dog needs three CAC certificates (from three different judges, between the first and the last certificate must pass 52 weeks) for the confirmation of the Latvian Champion title.
For the confirmation of these titles You must send to our office by e-mail lkf.champion@inbox.lv or post following documents:
1. an application (in free form);
2. a copy of a pedigree;
3. a copy of Junior champion/Champion/Veteran champion diploma;
4. copies of JCAC/CAC/VCAC certificate and critic;
5. a copy of the payment 50 Euro (with rosette) or 35 Euro (without rosette). For Polish dogs (who are registered in the ZKwP Studbook) 50 Euro (with rosette) or 40 Euro (without rosette).
